The process of electrode preparation is elegant and simple, and is also suitable for mass production, (…) with the use of conventional mechanization.
I do not expect any obstacles on the way to this.
The cost (of NiZn batteries) is more than twice as low as the production cost of NiMH ones, and by more than five times the production cost of lithium-ion batteries.
These data put the SCPS technology in a good starting position from an economic standpoint and the continuation of commercial development.
The NiZn technology has an assured place in the rechargeable battery market, and it can enjoy a significant market share.

The characteristics in terms of cost, non-toxicity, and recyclability, reinforce the potential of the NiZn channel in the scope of applications of the NiCd, NiMH, and lead acid batteries.
The SCPS elements’ level of performance is extremely interesting, particularly concerning the cyclability obtained.
The calculation compared to lead-acid technology which must be done in €/usable kWh, taking into account the different depths of discharge actually useable, should lead to a very comparable price between the two technologies.
There is currently no credible technical competitor in the NiZn field, able to hinter the development of the SCPS batteries. The potential accessible market is, without a doubt, of the highest importance.
